candid
The assignment to myself this weak was to get candid shots that were still compositionally sound, and had good values in them. I also wanted to be able to get shots of people where they looked like they were in their element, and just them like they would be everyday without a camera in front of them.

lover's embrace
I wanted to capture two people who are in love in an unusual and very intimate way. this project is very simple, but to capture the image the way i wanted was very difficult.

my idea behind this photo is a woman's struggle with self perception and image. when first thinking of this project I wanted the writing on the mirror to be asking the question Who am I? but after contemplating I thought the impact would be greater if the writing said I know who I am.
